Corporate Responsibility at Kroozer

At Kroozer, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of corporate responsibility as we operate across India, Dubai, and Nepal. Our mission is to ensure that all our products are manufactured under safe, fair, legal, and humane working conditions throughout our supply chain while promoting transparency, ethical practices, and sustainability.

Fair Labor Practices and Safe Working Conditions

We prioritize:

  • Fair Labor Practices: Ensuring workers’ rights are respected and upheld in compliance with international labor and human rights standards.
  • Safe Work Environments: Establishing and maintaining safe, ethical, and humane working conditions at every stage of production.

Transparency and Accountability

Transparency is central to our operations. We publish our Code of Conduct on our website, enabling stakeholders to review our ethical guidelines and commitments.

Supplier Evaluation and Development

Kroozer integrates corporate responsibility into our supplier selection and evaluation processes to ensure compliance with social, environmental, and ethical standards. Our approach includes:

  1. Supplier Commitment:
    • All suppliers must sign and adhere to Kroozer’s Code of Conduct and Vendor Operations Manual, which outline our standards for ethical business practices and workplace conditions.
    • Suppliers agree to meet our Supply Chain Integrity Agreement and Product Compliance Manual requirements.
  2. Training and Awareness:
    • Kroozer trains its sourcing teams on issues like human trafficking, slavery, and fair labor practices to ensure informed supplier evaluation and decision-making.
    • We conduct annual refresher sessions for continuous learning.
  3. Auditing and Compliance:
    • New factories are pre-screened for social and environmental compliance, including checks for local legal adherence, safety standards, and worker rights.
    • On-site audits are conducted, including safety inspections, payroll analysis, and worker interviews.
    • Factories with findings of child labor, forced labor, harassment, or discrimination are immediately disqualified or required to implement corrective actions within a set timeframe.
  4. Continuous Monitoring:
    • Regular factory visits and follow-ups ensure ongoing compliance and corrective actions.
    • Social and environmental audits extend to subcontractors of primary suppliers.

Fair Wages and Ethical Practices

We actively track the minimum and prevailing wages in every country where we operate and ensure that our suppliers meet or exceed these benchmarks. Many of our suppliers already pay above the minimum wage, and we remain committed to achieving fair wages for all workers involved in making Kroozer products.

Ongoing Improvement and Due Diligence

Improving compliance is a continuous process, and we are prepared to end partnerships with suppliers who fail to meet our standards. We leverage tools like:

  • Supplier Audits: Regularly conducted for both new and existing factories to address any concerns.
  • Training and Remediation: Providing consulting and training to help factories align with Kroozer’s ethical standards.
  • Zero-Tolerance Policies: Enforced for practices such as child labor, forced labor, harassment, and discrimination.

Our Vision for Responsible Growth

Kroozer is committed to fostering ethical and responsible business practices while respecting the diverse cultural and legal environments in India, Dubai, and Nepal. We believe that a sustainable supply chain benefits not just our company but also the communities where we operate.

Through transparency, fair labor practices, and safe working conditions, Kroozer aims to set a benchmark in corporate responsibility in the bike accessories industry. Together, we can build a future that’s safe, ethical, and sustainable for all.
